Default Wiring new fuel pump in rear tank, 94 f150

have my new tank and pump now. Need to wire new plug into harness but new one is different color wires. It's from spectra. Are old wire colors on truck harness as follow?
Brown/white stripe- pump power
Orange- pump ground
Yellow - sending unit power
Black- sending unit ground
Only ask as my truck wires colors vary some from what they diagram states. Want to get this right. Thanks

I just replaced the front one on my 94 and all the wires matched up except the sending unit ground. Just go by where they are on the old pump and make sure that the first wire on the old is the first on the new and on down the line.

Did you get it figured out? I wired it per the diagram & blew the fuse.

If your new plug looks just like the old, just use the old plug as your guide...better yet, if you haven't cut the old plug off, just cut each wire individually, and the solder each corresponding wire of the new plug to the old wire corresponding lead.

Generally, the thicker wires are for the pump, and ground wires will usually have a black stripe on them.

Get a small generator, Jakery 500 battery or a 12v extension cord and use your cab 12v.
