Default e3 spark plugs

i was wondering if anybody has tried cross referencing plug gaps on e3 to get a bigger gap so a person could use them with the timing bump?

E3 gaps are non- negotiable.

i know they are non gapable, but i wondered if they made them with bigger than standard gaps, i have some, the specs say .054 gap on them. i thought they might make a .060. which would in theory work with the timing bump.

buy the Motorcraft Copper cores....same great plug without the stupid looking end that hides the spark....

the E3 is a Nickle Plated Copper core too....with a stupid looking end on it that can inhibit fuel burn by hiding teh spark...PASS

Awesome answer. I tries to put BOSCH premium plugs in my truck before i found out that they don't work. A fellow Ford owner informed me that Fords vehicles do not like anything other than Motorcraft plugs. I use Motorcraft for everything I can on my truck. Haven't had any problems with their products.

Motorcraft C/C's are actually designed to fail prior to piston damage.

Here's their (E3) cross reference chart: http://www.e3sparkplugs.com/pdf/e3autocross.pdf
