Default transmission question

Hey guys my names chance and I'm new to this site. I recently picked up a 92 ford f150 4x4. Its a automatic truck and has the e4od tranny. The truck was taken off the road for almost 2yrs. When I got the truck the transmission was fine but now that I've drove it for a little bit(about 150 miles) the truck won't go into reverse or netrual. I also can't get the transfer case to go into netrual or 4low. I changed the transmission filter and it was clogged with little metal pieces. The truck will feel like it drops in reverse but will just rev up like in park and the truck will not roll in netrual. The shift linkage looked fine I have a feelin it will need a rebuild anything else I could be.

sounds like you need a new trans. the transfercace might just need some more fluid they are hard to kill unless the last owner drove it on the road in 4 hi or low.
