During the Key on, engine off test, i pulled a 634 code which is:
"Park/Neutral Position (PNP) or Clutch Pedal Position (CPP) circuit fault Electronic shift transmission - Manual Lever Position (MLP) sensor out of range in Park-Transmissions"

I have been having an issue with a hard shift between 1-2, sometimes so hard that my transmission slips into neutral and then slams into either 1st or 2nd. If it hits 1st it starts the cycle all over again. Other times, I will be in 3rd or 4th and it will all of a sudden just go into neutral. Usually, manually shifting into neutral and then back int drive will temporarily fix the problem. Could this just be a shift position sensor issue or may I be looking at bigger issues?

Also, fluid level doesn't seem to have any effect on the issue.

check all your fuses ?

i know it might seem dum but happened to me once.

i blew the dash speedometer fuse and the tranny was hitting on every gear
until replaced.

Sounds like a bad torque converter, or possibly the valve body in the tranny.
