Great replies. Thanks for the info. I think I will pb the nuts and try to remove them. I have an impact gun. Hopefully the heads won't spin.

Never have removed the bumper to set a bed back. Put rags or cardboard on the rubber bumper pads to keep from gouging it up.

I had my 94 stepside bed off in under a half hour... had access to both tank tops...

I would pull the bed.

Nothing worse than working under the truck trying to disconnect fuel lines etc.

As long as you are going to replace the pump, yes clean out the tank. Like I said before it's a good idea to replace the straps with the pumps. If you aren't replacing the rear pump then I wouldn't even touch it, removing the pump means you need a new gasket, and why mess with something that's working.

I don't plan on selling it any time soon however it is a secondary vehicle.

Just put some anti sieze on the bed bolts before they go back on. You'll be able to get it back off in 20 mins if you ever have to.
