Default driver side exhaust manifold

On a 1990 5.0.

Any tips or advice? I'm not pulling the engine, so how tricky will this be?

I do plan on replacing the whole exhaust in time, so, if I do this manifold now, pass in two weeks or so, then pipes and muffler in about a month or two, would that cause any issues with uneven carbon buildup, or does it not build up that fast?

Is there a gasket or seal of some sort?
How tightly should I torque the bolts back down? Tight enough so that there's a little resistance, but close to immovable? and would that be enough to keep them from vibrating loose?

Sorry, I'm a bit incompetent when it comes to transmissions and exhaust. I understand the general setup, and how and why it works, and how to put it together, but not how to KEEP it together.

Please and thank you!

It might be easier to remove the tire and inner fender well and do it through the side. Carbon build up? Worrying about nothing. Gasket to the block, not sure if there's a donut but probably not. Tighten it as tight as anything else that you don't want to fall off.
