Default Dash Pad Insert and removal

Can someone tell me if the dash on a 1994 Ford F150 XL is in 2 pieces and if so, how do you get them apart.

I saw a part on Ebay called a Dash Pad Insert and it looks like what I need to repair my dash but no sure.

Can these parts be repainted to match the interior of the truck even if they are a fifferent color?

1994 Ford F150 XL

Thank you,

Gary

they make covers for them (LMC trucks) so you don't have to replace the whole thing. if you do decide to change the whole thing make sure you have a shop-vac on had because it is a mess if it is dry rotted at all.

On your '94 the soft Dash Pad, which is about 3 1/2 feet long, can be removed from the hard dash by removing the seven nuts on the back side of the pad. You will need to remove your radio and your glove compartment to gain access to these nuts. The hardest ones are the two where the radio opening is. It requires a 10mm socket to get them off. These pads can be painted to match if you can't find the correct color for your truck. It helps to have small hands when removing/installing these pads.

Default Thank you

Thank you for the advice and help, I think I will go for a dash pad over lay, I don't want to mess with taking the radio and glove box out to replace this.

Thank you

Default 1995 Ford F150 Dash Pad

I would like instructions on switching out the original dash pad on my 95 Ford F150. Found a replacement but want to make sure it is installed correctly.
