Default cut-off pipe exhaust

will an exhaust system cut off after the muffler perform better than one that has pipe wrapping all the way behind the back tire? just curious

i brought mine down from the manifold into a straight pipe on each side, true duals, then run them into twin glass packs..or "cherry bombs" and dumped it even with the back of the cab on the passenger side, hidden next to the frame for the no visible exhuast effect, peaple freak out when they notice i dont have any pipes running out!
