Default wont start, new guy post

I have a 1995 f150 4x4 5.0 I did a tuneup and it ran fine for six months (plugs wires coil distributer cap and rotor and module) so a few days ago when I turn the key just a loud click I replaced the starter and diode supresser today, still nothing turn the key power comes on but wont start just makes a loud click....PLEASE HELP

There might be two solenoids on that truck, one might be bad. The other possiblities is loose/corroded cables/connections or bad battery.

The terminals and battery are new I went and sanded and scrapped the connections took the multimeter out there and its getting power at the starter but diddnt have another person to turn the key

Tried starting it by jumping the solenoid on the passenger firewall?

short those 2 terminals indicated with the yellow arrows. i am assuming that is the same solenoid that's in you truck. if it does not look like that than don't listen to me.

My 94 did the same thing last year and it ended up being the starter was bad. Try jumping those two posts on the solenoid on the fender and if you still just get a click, I'd pull the starter off and get it checked. Autozone,O'Reilly, etc. usually do this for free. At that price you can't beat it! Hope it helps, good luck.
