side note-

the factory cup holders that some had



which explains the ridge. these were not every supportive as they were only an inch or so deep (correlating with the metal)

one other thing-

i shouldnt need to say this, but make sure you do it on the side that normally faces inward

and i am going to put a bead of glue on it under the lip on monday

Nicely done! FWIW my 94 Flareside with leather interior do NOT have the protrusions for the cup holder either. I like this idea better than the "stock" approach. It's got me thinking.

i used crazy glue, and it works jut fine
