Default leaky gear box

well i went to get my truck aligned and found out a lot of stuff i didnt wanna hear haha turns out i have 2 bad ball joints and a bad u join on the drivers side plus a leaky gear box

i know how to fix the ball and u joins but what should i do about the leaky gear box? hmm?

Get a new one. Replaced mine about 2 months ago and I can assure you that you won't be sorry. Steers like new again

hmm... sounds like the best idea... but is there anything i can do to keep it from blowing up until i get to it?

just make sure it has fluid in it and you'll be golden.

i run actual power steering fluid, but you can also run ATF, just make sure your power steering pump is full thats where it gets its fluid.

ah thats what i figured... yeah i have to keep filling it up... when i bought it, it whined really bad. i checked it and it was bone dry.... alright thanks guys!
