My 95 seems to have a vacuum leak somewhere. I just can't seem to find it at all. I have tried spraying carb. cleaner to find it but I haven't had any luck. It's really bugging me. What are some common places for a 95 to have a leak?


My truck seems to switch from a/c to defrost when I accelerate hard and when I'm in a lower gear it seems to vibrate (feels like its towards the rear). Any help would be great. Thanks

Check all the intake hoses, intake gaskets, brake booster hoses, PCV hoses/valve, EGR hoses, etc. If you can't find the leak take it to a shop with a smoke tester.

Thanks! I know that there could be so many things that it could be exactly. Is it possible to be something internally?

all the hoses that seem cracked and old just replace them...it might just be a **** ton of small pinholes all over..

Did you check to see if your brake booster is leaking?

Check the vaccuum lines under the battery or where it goes thru the firewall. Lines either rott out or crack at those places.

Check out https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post18573439, That seems to be the first vacuum line to decay. It was causing me p0171/2, and p0173/4 codes and poor starting.
