Default Thinking about doing this.. 2.5in lift with 35s

Size: 264.7 KB This guy I know has a bronco.... It's sweet.. All it has is a 2.5in RC lift in the front, and stock in the rear sitting on 35s. He says they clear front and back great. ON STOCK WHEELS. I love the look. What do you guys think? I would be throwing this on a 93 4x4. I already know about bigger tires, and brakes, and gears, blah blah. Opinions greatly accepted! Haha

You might be able to get away with 33s but I wouldn't put on 35s. I think the 33s might even rub on stock wheels when you turn at full lock. I wouldn't want to limit how much I could turn. 15 years ago I wouldn't have cared though. You talking 10.50s?

My 33x12.50 m/t's rub pretty good on the radius arms, but I really like the stock wheels. Also will occasionally knick one corner of the bumper, although I'm sure I could adjust it out if I wanted. I've had no problems doing some mild off-roading... but I'm not sure I would feel comfortable going much bigger. That truck does look good with that set-up though.

Do you have a level or anything? I'm thinkin I'm just gonna do some level springs with 33s until I have some more money. I'm only 16 haha

On a 4x4, moog 824's with 33's should work good. They will rub on the radius arms when you turn sharp though. But yeah, when you're 16 it's all about looking good. Been there done that.

Yes, I just have leveling springs. I like the look of 35's, but I use my truck as a truck. Getting too high up makes things harder to load and unload. I also didn't want the extra expense of re-gearing. I can get by the way it is, but if I had gone up any more in tire size, I'd definitely have to have lower gears.

I have a 2.5 RC Lift on my 1995 F-150, and I have 33x12.50 BFG AT's on my stock Ford Rims. And they do rub at full turn, but like Broncojunkie said it's not so bad that it's intolerable. But I wouldn't in no way put 35's on with just a 2.5 lift up front. But I'm no spring chicken anymore either.
