Default Changing Shocks

Well, there is NO way we can afford new shocks right now, but if I get the jobs I'm wanting, I'll definately replace them they are the original ones from 95

How tough are they to replace in a driveway?

I think I'll get KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, any objections to that?

Any other tips?

They're super easy to change. One nut on top and one bolt on the bottom. The hardest part will be taking off the tires.

Any shocks you'd recommend? Just have to fit, nothing high performance unless it isn't much more expensive

Wow. I never knew shocks were that easy to change. I know a decent amount about cars and more about performance parts but I'll admit, I'm a noob when it comes to suspensions.

Suggest to douse the shock nuts and bolts with PB-Blaster or some other penetrating fluid a day or two before you actually want to do the work. Recommend a shot two days before, with a follow-up shot the day before.

Does a lot towards reducing the grunt-n-groan factor - as well as heightened prevention of rounded nuts and skinned knuckles.
