Default Changing Front Differential Fluid

1992 f150 4wd. I can see the fill plug. Are you supposed to suction the old oil out or can you remove a lower bolt to drain the diff?

There is no drain plug on the front differental its set up as a chunk I guess you could suction it out but you can loosen all the bolts halfway then after the fluid is out clean the surfaces and permatex it. I dont see a reason to change it the amount your from diff is used it would take a long time to break down the oil thats just my thoughts.

Only way to do it is to separate the TTB.

No you can suck it out with a variety of tools. Some cheap and some more expensive but they all do the trick!
The cheap ones look like a big syringe.

Ive got a handy hose like this with a hand pump, to pump in or suck out fluid. Really handy to fill my diff fluid and 5spd and I don't spill a drop
