Cel runs rich runs poor in drive or reverse but can eginge fine in park and neutral
i had my cel light come on after i change my mlps and conncetor autozone i had to re wire my conncentor since it was the old style truck ran poor and rich in drive or reverse took it to a mechanic and the played with the timing and changed my map sensor i also reinstalled my old mlps since i wired it wrong truck ran fine for 2 weeks and then i changed the conncetor again but used the old conncetor wiring diagram but had the new style connector on it truck ran fine for 2 days then the same issues occured cel runs poor etc took it again and they told me my timing chain was loose and swaped out my map sensor again cel was off but came back on when got home i printed out the wiring pun diagram for the new style connccetor vs the old style and found pins 1 and 4 are reversed on the new style compared to the old style should i rewire according to the
new conector or go back to the old pin location my engine is a 92 f150 5.0 with a e40d 2wd trans

Ok i changed the transmissin range sensor out with a newer style they made in 95 to replace all old transmisson range sensor mines a 92 the pin 1 and 4 locations are swapped should i wire the pins for the new connector or go back to the old one as far as it running like **** it almost feels to me like it wasin the keep alive mode but the idk b cuz the mechanic said it was my timing chain being loose could my timing chain really cause it to run like crap or could it be the sensor

First off I gave my apology to Reno. I'm new on this forum thing. I didn't know that's something you shouldn't do.
I don't have a problem being called out if I did something wrong. All you had to do was point out that there's some kind of rules. You didn't have to come out the way you did.
