Do you have the heavier chassis? If not? Nope. Add the beefier trans to move 4 wheels. Saw off if not custom make a drive shaft. Have the swap-ability to reprogram the larger size trans and those shift points, not the smaller torque rate of your trans. You would beef up the prom for the heavier foot moving a dually where you hope you have a bed with the removable wheel wells for the extended X cause it sure is not going Y out there the other way.
Kind of trade in the 4 wheels and just grade up call it a day? Or match a new car part for part. Find a totaled dully in the front and hope the trans case is not cracked, (look underneath).

Did you actually understand what 3wV said? I never can.

Yes, see if the frame is beefier, and if it is then there isn't much point to swapping the parts over. It would be best with a complete donor truck because of all the parts you would need but if you had the whole donor truck then you might as well use it instead. You wouldn't need the bed, just the flares. The bed is the same except the wheel opening is cut out larger and then the flares are bolted on. There would be gas tank issues too, since the filler doors are on one of the flares you might need the filler from the dually also, but the tanks might be the same.

um im not sure what all these guys mean by needing a beefier frame and all but if you just want striaght up dual wheels all you need is to go buy spacers with longer studs on the back, but if your wanting to put a flatbed and all that you will need a stronger frame and all that too but we put just straight up duals on my friends 250 with just the spacers, make sure you get long enough studs on the spacers though ours were just barely long enough

Without the beefier frame there isn't much point in converting to dually. You won't get the full carrying capacity without the beefier frame, but you will gain some.
