What a nice Flareside! here's my "Dutch Ford" This truck is imported in 2004 from Nevada; I bought the truck six weeks ago and with cleaning the interior americen dimes and cents and even a Bud Light cork came out of the dark corners Behind the truck my old 1962 Landrover... I've drove her for 21 years and now somebody bought her for restoration. Driving a Landie in the rain means: wet knees. Driving on the motorways deafening gears. Driving in the winter: bikerclothes on! The Ford is comfortable, warm and even cruiscontrol!!
greetings Ton

I think it looks great! I've thought about doing a matte black paint job too (been thinking for 2 years now...)
So... as asked earlier - did you do the paint yourself, or was it done at a shop?

Hey guys thanks for the compliments, as for the headlights I ordered them on ebay for like 130 bucks shipped.
Streettune has them along with some pages, it's actually the same account though, just different online store names.
As for the paintjob, it was all me. Painting is easy but it was the prep that sucked, First time painting a car though so there's two spots on the truck were I have some small runs but nothing horrible.
One of the jobs I had was at an auto shop so I had all of the tools and materials at my disposal.
As for the engine work it's been mostly minor things, such as stated before along with exhaust, A/C and Broken Brake lines and Pads.
And the lift is a 6" Rough Country sitting on 35" BFG A/Ts and as far as the ride quality goes it's actually really nice, I mean it ain't no cadillac but for how "rough" people warned R/C lifts are it's really not bad, although the "squishyness" of my tires may be adding a bit more comfort, overall though it's actually a really smooth riding truck

Hi James Is yours a4x4? 1000dollars is not much for a truck! I've paid 1850 and that very cheap here. Normally they do a good 4500dollars here
