brake light fuse blown
92 I6 F150
I just realized that when I press on the brake the fuse blows.
I checked the 2 brake light sockets and also disconnected both of the back brakes from the harness underneath the bed back there. The fuse still blows.
They worked when I first got the truck but today after finishing replacing the dash and the starter switch and solenoid I noticed the fuse starting to blow. Also I noticed while inspecting the brake lights they were constantly lighted up.
Any ideas?

Would anything else cause this? Perhaps the multifunction switch? This symptom seems to be intermittent well intermittent in that it worked for a while.
If my tail light bulbs are on constantly, where is the most likely location of the pinch? under the dash?
Thanks,

problem resolved
It took a while but the problem was resolved by reading the electrical schematic. There was a short to ground on the wire coming from the brake pedal switch to the multifunction switch. Instead of removing the entire dash to find it, I ran a new wire and neatly soldered it in.
Thanks,
Matt
