Default Best way to remove door panels from a "94 XLT

I am thinking to upgrade speakers in my truck. I found a set of nice component audiophile speakers I've had laying around and I though I'd use them.
Anyway, I need some advise about how to remove the door panels without breaking something. Your advise or instructions would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've only done this on a truck with manual windows but what you do is you take out all the visible screws then you have to pull off the outer shell of the window handle and there is a torx screw in the handle, take that out. Once all of the screws are out you just have to pull on the panel, there are fasteners that are still holding it on there tight. After it's pulled out the fasteners might be ruined, my panel was never as tight as before I took it off, but you should be able to buy the fasteners at any auto parts store. Hope that helps.

I didn't even realize you put XLT in the title, so you have the power windows I guess. It should be the same as what I just wrote but without the window handle part.

Thanks, I suspected as much. I thought it would be a lot like other cars I've worked on. OTHO, I don't want to start messing with it without asking for advise first. I don't want to break of screw up something because of ignorance....

Those fasteners are in the Help! section at the parts store. I'm sure you will break at least one and they don't like to hold as tight as before when you rip them out.
