I'll have to look back at that again. The last time I read into this it sounded like the correct pump was going to be almost impossible to find. Hopefully that's not the case.

Sag pump, My favorite underhood swap. It was so easy except for holding the AC pump out of the way. But I love the modifications that are just plug-and-play. clean off the new (used) pulley nice and good like. mine had some weatherin' to it.

I will defiantly have to get one. is the steering the same? if i go full lock with my truck i can stall the engine some times does that happen still?

another question i know this will cause some major drag on the belt drive along with some other issues im sure but replacing the belt drive with a chain driven system?

Just dont go full lock. But I dont believe it bogs the engine down at all

actually there isnt much drag at all. my original pump seemed to have more resistance than this one. Chain driven? what?

Ha for some reason I blanked on that factor

Guess you could, but that's a lot of extra weight, and if that flies off it'll cause some good damage and noise hahaha

Putting a chain on to fix a belt slip problem is answering a question that shouldn't exist. If the system works properly, you'd never need one in the first place.

obviosly id rather fix the problem if i could find one the only problem i see is when i hit wot while not under load... the chain system would be a off road kind of system as in the belt is weak! steel is king! lol
