Does anyone know what I need to convert my auto hubs to manual? I have a 1994, hubs have 3 bolts.
Thanks

I think it is just buy them and bolt them on. you will get a set of warn or superwinch for the price of one from ford.

I changed my 94 over four years ago. Warn. Just buy the kit. Make sure you get the right one, the 96 hubs need an adapter of some kind that costs about $70 can. more and a couple of places I went to price them tried to tell me I needed them.

No, the 94-95 doesn`t need it. five bolt holes in the outer cover.
The 96 only has three holes in the outer cover and it needs the adapter.
I don`t know what it is but my son had a 96 and his hubs were different to mine.

Well I checked and my 94 has 3 bolts in the cover, so if this is the case I guess I need the conversion kit.

oops Just checked mine[1994] and it has SIX screws in the cover.

I bought this truck new so I know it is original.

If your 94 has three screws in the cover it must have been changed at sometime. My sons 96 had three screws in it.

I went from auto to Warn manual...works great. Make sure to get a pick set though. I was trying to change them without one at first and that collar ring was a pain in the butt. Once I got the [ick set it was as easy as sliding out the old ones and putting the new ones in. Its an easy job.
