Question Lowering the rear question.

I was looking around and i found a kit that will raise/lower the rear and i'm wondering how it would work. here's the link. any help would be great.

I would think you'd be pretty distracted w/ all that going on.

ok.. which spring should i take out if i only want to level it out with the front? should only be like a 2 inch drop

Seriously, if it was something that produced a code, I'd be all over it but I'm just along for the ride on this one. By the end of your thread, if you ask me again I bet I'll be able to tell you.

That kit only works to lower your truck if it's a spring under setup, which it's NOT. http://www.belltech.com/shackleshanger.php

Wouldn't removal of a leaf spring kinda defeat the purpose of a p/u's function? Hauling payloads?

i don't have anything to haul.. it was my wife's truck and it became mine and i have no plans on getting rid of it. whenever i do acquire things i need to haul, i'm gonna get one with an I6.

Look on the Auto Zone site for new shackles......that would be a way easier method of lowering it 2"
