Default Anyone running Ram 20" spare wheels on an F150?

Just curious if anyone is running dodge ram (I know....) 20" spare wheels on their F150? They're the same bolt pattern, and I want to try them on my '88, but need to know if I would need spacers, etc..

Anyone? Attached are pics of my truck, as well as photos I found of the spares on the correct tires (275/45R20).

They should work fine. The bolt pattern is the same (5x139.7) and they both have a low offset. I don't know the offset exactly but they should fit, especially seeing as they are both rear wheel drive. They might be zero offset, but I'm not positive.

I have seen a late 80's early 90's F150 running Ram 20" alloys. Flat black truck on the Ram 20's in black. Didn't look too bad.

Yeah, I haven't been able to find any specs about offset for the spare, but from what I understand they're 8" wide. I'd hate to pick them up and realize they don't fit without spacing! Haha..

I'd love to see that, if you ever see it again, take a pic! That's essentially what I was thinking.. truck could use a spray to have everything one color, I'm considering satin black. Since it's a full-size spare, I wouldn't have to worry about there being a load/speed limit or anything, right ?

Thanks guys! I think once I sell these 22's, I'm gonna pick up a set.

Yea, if its full size you shouldn't have a speed rating problem. I am curious though, why do you want the spares instead of the regular rims? Are you just trying to find narrow rims?

Maybe he is worried about backspacing problems?

I guess I just like the simple but aggressive look of the police Durango's with large steelies and small chrome center caps.. I wanted to go with a larger wheel that I wouldn't be too worried about if I got a scuff or two on them, and that no one would want to "borrow" if I have to leave my truck at the office overnight.. that's all. I like the look and I think it'll look pretty good with my stance.

Getting the tires mounted today... anyone know what the minimum thread engagement should be ? I test fitted the wheels yesterday and seem to only get about 1/2" of engagement. Is this gonna be a problem? They're conical lugs now, do I need to get extended thread lugs like these?

There's sets of 4 of these wheels going for 100 bucks on my local craigslist. I'm really tempted to try them... But aren't 20 inch tire expensive??
