Default Almost got the 2 wire lights wired. (New Pics)

Updated: I replaced the flasher with a heavy duty one, and it fixed the fast blinking!

Thank you to everyone who is helping me solve this. (wiring 2 wire lights to my 95 xl.)

I think I almost have it. The Tails, Brakes and Turn Signals work but...

Problems:
  • Turn signals blink fast still.
  • Left reverse light wont come on.

My Wiring:

Right Lights

Left Lights

I got it all working! The bolts for the light grounds just needed to be tighter.

The turn signals still seem to blink fast..but maybe that is normal?

All lights work now.

Not sure about your model, but on some of the older vehicles a heavy duty flasher is required when you add lights such as a trailer due to the extra resistance. I know that you are not connected to a trailer but the new lights may be adding resistance. Try a heavy duty flasher and I'm glad that things are working for you. BTW grounds are 80%-90% of the problems with lights. Let us know if the heavy duty flasher fixes your problem.

Sorry buddy but that wiring is not going to handle the elements for very long at all. You need splices and shrink wrap at the very least.

Could you put up a picture of the truck? I'm a sucker for a wooden bed.

Here it is. Needs refinishing, but wood is in decent shape.
