is there any way to rebuild the air pump on these?

Sure, if you could find the parts or even knew what parts you would need. Somebody rebuilds them, they've got warehouses full of rebuilt ones. You should order one.

I haven't disassembled an air pump cause I've never had one croak. But, I tried to rebuild an ABS valve once. The hydraulic part of it, is a cakewalk. A couple of minutes. However, the internal switches are not made available to the public. The way they screw up is the O-rings fail & the switches short. Don't know about A pumps but w/ that kinda stuff, bearings are many times the weak link. $5-10. at a boneyard.
