Air Conditioner not working ???????
I have a problem with my 1990 Ford XLT truck (302) I have replaced my Pump,Drier, radiator I checked the freon no leaks, pressure good, Clutch is engaging correctly, but the pipe is not getting cold or the air will not get cold. What is the electric unit that plugs into the drier? or what can be wrong I have replaced everything.

Im guessing you got a vacuum leak. I think that a vacuum leak will cause your heater to just go to defrost no matter what you select. And with defrost the clutch will kick on but it won't make the air cold. Check the vacuum lines around the blower motor

That would be a pressure sensor. If you are sure its full of freon you can unplug it with the truck running and the ac on max and jump the wires in the plug. if the pump comes on you probably have a bad pressure sensor

Checked
I checked the levers as i slide the lever to Max Air I can hear the clutch kick on and the change in the motor speed. The gauge reads around 38pds of pressure in the line no change in days. Is there a way to check the Temp lever? it is the cable type. I did notice the truck runs hotter with the ac on.

the condensor is in front of your radiator. as air passed through it pulls heat out of the refrigerant which warms the air and your truck will run a little hotter. it sounds like you may have a dirty evaperator or there is something wrong with the temp control lever or flap. with the ac on, when you slide the max air lever can you hear any vacuum suction for a second and does the air blow harder through the vents?

the condenser
The condenser is brand new, the lever all work OK. When I go from vent to floor to defrost to air it all changes over OK the only thing I noticed is that on top of the heater core to the left is a round valve with an arm on it that looks like it opens and closes a flap, there is a vacuum hose attached to it that is not hooked to anything, I can not find out were it plugs into.

Than line runs into a harness that should be somewhere close to where the end of the white line reaches. As for where it goes inside that harness I havent a clue haha.
