Default rear tanl fuel lines

New to the forum and first post. I have a 96 F150 8 ft Eddie Bauer. When I got it it had no rear tank and the fuel lines were cut by the back axle with a clamped rubber fuel line connecting them together. I am putting in the rear tank, my question is, there are two lines one for supply one for return. How can I tell which is which and what outlet on the pump is supply and which is return. Thanks in advance for any help

I believe the larger is supply and the smaller is return. You can trace them to the junction.
