Default Accelerator throttle cable

95 f150, 5.0L 2WD

While removing the throttle body today to install a new TPS, I broke the round plastic housing piece at the end of the cable just before it attaches to the throttle lever. Not really sure how to replace this, looks like the cable goes all the way inside the firewall and yeah, most likely to the accelerator?

I think the plastic piece is necessary cause if broke, and I cable is pulled, then it probably won't pull the throttle lever. I think the cable inside it is pulled while the plastic piece is a like a stopper for the cable inside to move.

Am I SOL or is this easy to replace?
