Default ABS Warning light on '88

I've got a ABS warning light on my 88. How do I do a diagnostic test? It's a RABS1 system. I don't like to be without safety systems so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It prolly needs a new sensor in the rear diff that is the most replaced part. Good luck.

Default thanks

Thanks! I wondered about that...I just was on a boat ramp a week ago and shortly after that the light appeared. Do you think it might be connected...badly insulated sensor maybe?

Default Replaced the sensor still have a problem

I replaced the sensor and I'm still getting the light? What else could it be? Some suggested the exciter ring...does that sound reasonable?
