ABS and brake light gremlin
So try this on for size. 96 F150 5.8 193,000 miles. In the past month I've replaced every inch of brake line, master cylinder, front calipers, every piece of the rear brakes and the ABS valve.
Today I start the truck and get a strange flicker of the dome light. Now my ABS and brake light are on. Everything works fine and I park by the garage. Turned truck off and started it a few times and lights stay on. While truck is running, I depress the emergency brake and the brake light goes off but ABS stays on.
So I turn it off and start it back up. Both lights on. I move the key towards me ever so slightly and brake light goes on but ABS stays on. Turn off and on again and both lights now off. Strange huh?
