96 f150 inline 6 starts when cold but not when hot
I have a 96 f150 inline 6 250,000 miles and runs great. The only problem I have is when the engine gets warm it has trouble starting. It wants to start but then it sounds like it has a misfire then stalls. After about four tries it starts and runs fine. Starts without any problems when the engine is cold though. I changed plugs and cap and rotor thinking it might be that but didnt work. Please help.

Possibly could be the coolant temperature sensor, tells the computer the temp of the engine, had this happen to my laser once with the same scenario changed the temp sensor and worked great. You can ohm it out with a meter to make sure before you change it.

happened to 2 of my brothers truck and sisters car. about a hundred bucks.
i would take yours off and run diagnostics on it at auto zone or wherever you prefer
