I have a 1996 F150 with 256,000+ miles. The other day I cranked the truck and put it in reverse and the engine died. The check engine light has been on the passed seven years and every other time it was an O2 sensor. This time the codes read P0401 & 411. I have already changed the IAC, and still the same problem. This happens in drive as well. When I get the truck to go into drive I have to tap the gas so it won't die on me. Once I'm going I'm fine, but when I have to stop the engine want to start stalling and I have to throw it up in the big N so the engine won't kill. Can anyone help? Also, stock 302, no bells or whistles.

po 401-Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Insufficient Detected
po 411-Secondary Air Injection System Incorrect Flow Detected
can't help with anything else.

The secondary air flow is the system that add extra air, oxygen to the exhaust so the Cat will work.
