Aftermarket chains sets also have multiple indexes for either advance, straight, or retard.

Actually might loose some low end torque, with a cam swap on stock motor. They do make RV cams for trucks that might make some low end torque (towing)but really wont pick up ton of HP.


As for headers I ran hedman's. They fit great, but not sure if they have them with the EGR bung for stock truck application. I got a set for a GEN 1 lightning and they dont have internal EGR like the mustangs. Order couple mandrel bends from summit and had local exhuast shop build my exhaust. Check on summits site,think PaceSetter make some for our trucks.

IMO you shouldn't put cats back on it, just run some 2.25"-2.5" true duals with no cats and you'll like it much more, better sound, little more nut, but do run an H or X pipe in the exhaust they help alot

Buy the right valve springs for the cam and rockers, the stock springs were barely good enough for stock cams.
