Thats a good looking truck! I tried dual exhaust on my 73, wasted my money, kept rusting out, went back to original, still there 20 years later.
Someone will chime in about a glass pack or what not.

glasspacks sound good on any truck btw and their cheap so if your on a budget like me those are a good option

My 96 has a separate pipe coming out of each manifold, so you could do true duals on mine. I won't though, because it already has y-pipe duals on it and it sounds like a damn farm tractor or something.

Single in duel out flowmaster is about the best sound u can get. Heard one on a 6 mustang an if I didn't think what the heck was that, I would have thought it was an 8 but v6 and i6 are two difrent beasts

Wow sweet looking truck!
There is really no point in going to a dual exhaust setup in an I6. They do make headers but there is little to gain from them. As far as the sound there is no sing-song candence such as you have with a V8, mostly it is a loud and obnoxoius roar. A cross flow head such as can be fitted from a Australian version of this engine does make a vast improvement but so will dropping a V8 in it and for a whole lot less money. Be happy with what I consider one of the best inline 6 cylinder engines ever to be put in a truck. It is best seen but not heard.
