Default 95 5.0L dyno results

just got my truck back from mustang specialties in pompano beach FL. i did a custom burn diablo sport chip. it pulled 239.46 hp at 5000 and 293.81 tq at 4000. a/f ratio at 12.8:1. i am very happy with the truck it is so much faster after the tune and runs way better. they did an excellent job and would reccomend them to anyone. looking around the net ive found the 5.0L mustangs put around 190hp to the wheels, so i am happy with 240hp through an automatic. this was more of a budget build motor, i have about $1800 into the setup. the truck spins a little in 1st, and burns 2nd gear when shifting with an open diff and 308 rear end. i cant wait for the spool and 456 gears to come. its going to be so much faster.

Yes indeed, very I don't think I would do such a thing with an engine with 155,000 miles as in my truck, but as the man behind the potted palm said "Very Interesting". For what you got in return for your money is a bargain, You my friend have spent your money well. Don't ya just love these digital engines.

There's more hp in it. Not much but 12.8 is a little rich. 13.1 is ideal NA

i think the low horsepower and high torque is from the edelbrock truck intake. they say it is designed for midrange torque and that is exactly what the dyno shows. at 3000 rpm its already making 250lbs of torque and only 150hp.

Do you have the edelbrock intake made for idle-5500??
