hi, i have a 92 f150 302 5-spd 4x4 and a couple weeks ago a few buddies and me went mudding, and ever since my truck has been running rough and accelleration is really sluggish. i don't know if i blew something from revving in the high rpms alot, or if i got mud in somewhere, but i'm not sure what to look for. i checked the air filter and intake and its clean, i wasn't in any water just mud. when i look under the hood, everything looks good, oil pressure is good, what should i check next? i've been driving it like this for a while already

my check engine light had flashed on a few times, but since then it has not came on it a while

Next time when the CEL comes on, have it checked out. I know AutoZone can check it out for you at no charge.

How bad the engine running rough during at idle and acceleration? And which tank are you using?

if the trucks just idling, you can feel the truck shaking, and during accelleration its just a dog, i've been using both tanks

I would check the cap and rotor, spark plugs and spark plug wires before doing the next step. If you think there is a misfire, check under the hood during at night time (no light aiming at your truck) and have someone give a gas (gear in park and EB on) and look for spark.

I found one defective spark plug where I saw sparks hitting against the exhaust manifold. And one time I saw sparks from plug wires.
