94 f150 carb swap
I have a 94 f150 with a 302 and automatic transmission, I've had a lot of trouble with electronic and fuel injection, what I'd like tone know is what all what I have to change in order to do a carburetor swap and get rid of the fuel injection. I know I need a new intake and the carburetor along with a fuel pressure regulator. But would I need to change the distributor or any other ignition components or any of the engine internals?

Not even worth it. It's technically doable and there are a few posts on these forums where someone has done it before.
The problem is on a stock motor, you'll make less power and get less mpg.
The obd1 efi in your 94 Is incredibly simple. Scan for codes and fix accordingly. Check vacuum leaks.
For the money put in to swap to carb, you could replace every sensor and still save money by just leaving the efi.
you also have the problem of needing a transmission controller to shift properly (or get a c6) but that's even more $

The main problem I'm having is with scanning though, either my ecm shows codes that have already been repaired or won't read at all. I'm pretty sure the ecm is bad, but I can't find one that's already programmed, so that's why I wanted to convert it and get rid of the computer

Is there a good pull a part or similar junkyard nearby? The computers in these trucks aren't terribly fancy, pull yours out and take a picture or write down all the codes on the sticker, then the same for your VIN. Take that with you to the yard. Also, eBay can be a good place for pulled parts from these trucks, too.

Bad idea. Carburetors are fun to tinker with if you understand them well, but only on a summertime toy that you don't have to depend on. You have EFI, HEI, and MAF. That's pretty up there for cold start dependability - just get it fixed properly.
There are places to buy new or rebuilt PCM's.
