Default 90's 5.8l

wats the difference between the pre and post 1993 5.8l's. i was looking for a cam, and after 1993 the choices suck. wats the difference, anyone know?

Didnt they switch to MAF and Roller rockers about that time?

None of the 5.8s are MAF, only MAP.

didn't they do a change in 96 with the 5.8's and 95 for the ones in California?

That's just when they switched to OBDII, but the OBDII 5.8s were still MAP.

U sure about that? 96 and up 5.8's are MAF. Get your facts straight before posting false info.

My buddy has a 96 F250 with a MAP setup 351W in it....his truck has less than 100k on it and this is the original engine.....still wanna argue? I have never seen a MAF setup 351w just the 302's like mine has. He's right about what he said, so why don't YOU get your facts straight before jumping someone's *** for posting "false info".

Sorry guys, I didn't read my diagrams close enough. The '95 and up California and the '96 5.8s have both MAP and MAF sensors. I saw the MAP and didn't look any further in the diagram to see that they have both.
