Default 90 F150 I6 Fuel/Electrical Issue

Howdy. So I found this old truck in the back of my shop last year and fixed her up. The other day I was driving home and she died on me. Half a tank of gas, alternator running great, new battery, new starter solenoid, new battery terminals.. When I tried to start her back up, the fuel pump wouldn't kick on. So I hastily replaced the fuel pump. This truck sat for a good 6 years before I got her, so I figured it was time for a new one anyways. It does have the dual tanks, but I had to remove the primary due to the rust holes and the rear tank was cycling gas into the front, so I pulled it and capped the lines off until I can replace it with an aftermarket tank. So solely running of the rear tank. Anyways, got a new pump in, replaced the fuel filter while I was there, she started up.. For a moment. Then died. Primed the pump some more, started her back up.. Then she died. After priming some more, we realized the pump wasn't coming on. So we check the relay. I have power going into the relay, but none coming out. Replaced the relay. Twice. Still no power out. I can push power through and the pump turns on. I can also jump it over and the truck starts right up. But I have no idea what could be the issue here. The rocker switch on top of the column is brand new, same with the ignition module on the distributor.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Answered my own problem. I'll post just in case someone else runs into the same issue. Honestly, it was a beginner mistake. I was getting power, but I realized it was the line from the ECC.. But not the fusible link from the starter solenoid. Changed that out and she fired right up.

Rule 1: always check your fuses first. I just wasted $200 fixing a problem that could have taken about $3 and 5 minutes.

Are you saying you found a blown fuse? Which one?

There's a series of fusible links from the starter solenoid to various electrical systems. At the fuel pump relay, I was getting power from the Red (the ECC) but not the Yellow. I traced it back and it turns out it was just the inline fuse that was blown.

Inline fuse or fusible link?
