Default 6cyl stepping up to BIG V8

Found a Deal on some REAL horse power to through under the Hood
Came across a guy with a '88 F250 2wd. Truck is a Mess really. and the tranny is blown all to hell. so i will have to find one. But the engine is the true Prize to this find. 460ci!!!! Running just fine, whent up to look it over. fired right up! So i'm conducting some Trading for the Engine. Gona put that Modding Knowledge to good use and put this Engine into Ole Blue! Sounds like a great plan huh. Worse MPG, Alot of work to install it, Frustration, Time,$. And yet i love doing things like this for a few reasons. #1 people tell me i CANT do it. so of corse i gotta prove them wrong. #2 Experience, #3 I just wanna be able to drive around and have people saying oh look at the POS Stock F150. haha oh if they only new... lol
But yea anyways should be picking up the Engine soon. then i will be searching for the Rare 5spd(4x4) that fit the 460.
(Good thing my truck has the Dual gas tanks or i'd be screwed!)

Sure you can do it. Should not be that hard. Time consuming maybe. If you have good mechanical knowlege adn a welder its not too bad to do. Remember to get a big block transmission though. It won't bolt to the 6 cyl trans, but you prolly already know that.

Just be sure to keep us updated, and make a thread about it, I know it would be very helpful to people that are considering the same swap. You could even charge access to the page to try and help keep your tanks filled up, lol
