My 1995 F150 originally came with a 40/20/40 Front seat.

It now has a full bench from what I believe to be a from a regular cab truck.

I have found a complete 40/20/40 seat in a junk yard (still in the truck) but it is filthy and moldy. But it does seem to be complete.

Should I grab this or are they rather common. Should I wait for a better one. This is the correct color also. It is likely inexpensive.

Also, is the only electrical for the power lumbar?

Remove the seats (since they're apparently junk) but take the bracket AND the seat tracks as they're somewhat rare. Once you have those, you'll have a bunch of options for bucket seats that fit - Explorer seats seem to be the most popular fitment, but I've heard that Ranger and Windstar bucket seats bolt right up as well.

One option to consider (which will likely save you some money), is to find the bucket seats you want and attach them to the tracks while at the junkyard, buying it all as one assembly.

One item of note, the bolts that attach the seats are a 3/8" head. I got lucky that my 6-point 10mm socket worked, but only because the bolts weren't real tight and/or rust-seized.

Also, it's much easier to remove the whole assembly (with seats attached) from the cab, then turn it over on the ground to remove the seats.

If the material is in good condition you may be surprised how well they clean up. Wait for a sunny day and give them a good shampoo and rinse in the driveway.

Well, I thought I'd make a move on this seat at the junk yard. A couple of problems.
The seats seem to be bolted to the floor individually. I did not see anything that looked like this. I wish I had taken pix of what I did see.

Not a big deal except they'll charge me for 3 buckets instead of 1 bench. ($140 v. $43.)
Plus its a power seat and it is positioned all the way back so I cant reach the reear bolts on the drivers side. I have a portable battery jumper I can hook up so that the seat will move.
Like I said before, my truck originally had the 40/20/40 bench. But I don't know if it had a power DS seat.
SO...
1) is there two different types of 401/20/40 seats? One like the one pictured above and one that mounts to the floor?
2) Was this 40/20/40 available w/ and w/o power seat? I think I might prefer non power.

What year is this truck? What cab style?

To the best of my knowledge the 40/20/40 was manual only, at least through the end of the 9th gen production.

So Extended cab, not a Crew cab, yes?

If yes, you don't want seats from that one - the attachment points are different. I don't think they have a 40/20/40 for the Extended cab.

I always knew the crew cab as 4 door

Correct. 4-door = Crew Cab
You have an Extended Cab, also known as Super Cab; less often referred to as Extra Cab.

I didn't realize that you have an Extended Cab. Given that, ignore what I said above, you want to look to other 1990 - '96 Extended Cabs (and Broncos) exclusively as donors. The seat mounting points are unique to these cabs and the seats slide forward further to allow better access to the jump seats.

I do not believe you will find a 40/20/40 seat in an Extended Cab of this era but I may be wrong. They mostly have bucket seats and a center console.
