Well after driving my truck roughly 2000 miles back from california, I lost the cruise, and horn, so basiclly all the functions on the steering and the yellow air bag light is blinking. Any idea on what could be causing this?

Clockspring. It's the coiled up wire that's on the steering column and has the airbag and cruise control wires for the steering wheel in it. You've got to pull the steering wheel off to change it.
