How many miles on it? What would you want for it? I have one stock in my truck buts its a damn slushbox. Seriously thinking maybe running a t-5. Rock the car shift configuration somehow. slamm the truck to the ground back a little higher, maybe drop the seats a little.

less than 750 miles on it since i rebuilt it, new shift forks and syncros, i sure you've heard of the shift fork issues on here, there new so you wouldn't have to worry about that. The hurst shifter makes everything feel real tight, also has shorter throws so your not moving the shifter a foot everytime you shift. The shifter itself was over 200 and the rebuild parts were well over $300, so if i could get $400 for it, i'd be happy.

New bearings too? Im actually in manual trans class here at the local tech college, and the trans we just finished pulling apart and putting back together are the M50ds. I was actually going to do a rebuild myself, but if I can get the cash together I might pick it up from ya.

I don't know if you plan to use the computer, in the F-150 the 351 was only available with a auto, in the 250 and 350 I believe the Windsor had the 5 speed as the standard with an auto optional. So you could pull a computer out of one of these if you plan on using fuel injection without the CEL.

power potentials are the same for both i think, but just remember even if you go carb you'll need a different distributor for an msd box, lower psi fuel regulator, different intake, etc.

ACtually dixie, u really seem to know what your talking about and I have alot of planes for my truck, would you mind if I asked for a aim or yahoo im address so I could message you if I have any random at the time questions? Could you tell me what all I would need for a carb setup? (If i can get it running I can figure out the rest like speedo, gauges and throttle linkages and all that)

thanks, to be honest i don't use any im stuff. but if you ever have a question just pm me, i check my messages everyday. Well i think i pretty much covered it in the message above with the carb stuff. speedo could vary, guages should be pretty easy, they make a cable type throttle linkage for carbs now that i've seen on some race cars that way you don't have to worry about making a rod line up just right.
