Also, it only misfires in certain situations. In the morning before it reaches operating temperature and i have a lot of electrical load on it like the heater and headlights is when it's the worst. I've also noticed that once it reaches operating temp, if i turn an electrical load it will cause the motor to stumble randomly.

Another potential issue - it's possible to have several at once. What's your alternator output ?
Mulitimeter set at 20 volts dc (20vdc), red lead to + battery post, black lead to - battery post; measure the voltage running, you're looking for 14.5 vdc

alternator is charging within spec
