Bought them on eBay in 2005
In my Ford F-150 Picture Profile;
you can see the white-face gauges on at nighttime.
They were about $25.
I removed the instrument cluster from the truck to install.
It has a thin On/Off button, which hangs down near the emergency brake handle,
but you can put anywhere.

Thanks for all the advice i truly needed it. Before i made this post i was thinking 351 and that seems to be the way to go. The problem with the 4.9 is i drive up a 7 mile long mountain everyday and it just falls straight on its face and i have to drive in 3rd all 7 miles!

I bought them on eBay 5 years ago.
I found the bubble mailer the white face gauges came in.
On the mailing label it says:

Bought from:

You are welcome
My 87 4.9L C6 only has 3rd gear, no 4th or Over-Drive.
The engine is turning 2600 RPM at 60 mph in the final gear with 35" tires.
3.54:1 ratio
If you have a good dependable engine, perhaps just drive it until... then install a 351W.
It will be a lot of work to swap from a I6 to a V-8
Best of luck!
