Default Simple and cheap, big difference!?

Hey all,

-I am just finishing college, and am finally starting to be able to spend some well deserved time working on my 91' 4.9L. I don't plan on dropping 10k into the truck by any means, but I am definitely trying to keep this thing running well and looking good for as long as I can.

-Over the past few days I have been tying up any loose ends in the truck, and getting her running as strong as possible before I start to dive into any new projects

-I am interested to see what simple and inexpensive modifications both cosmetic, and mechanical you guys think have made the biggest difference in your truck. What has been worth the money, and what no so much?

-Over the next few weeks, I have been planning on putting a 2.5" leveling kit up front along with some Dakota Definity m/t's (getting them at a steal) on her. Any discussion or suggestions are encouraged

Here's a picture of her as she sits currently ( only a lot dirtier now )

-Ken

2wd I'm guessing???

I put a 2" level on my 4x4. Definitely need an alignment, but I loved the look. There's plenty you can do. To much to list. Just look around the forum a while and you'll see stuff you like

4x4 actually, picked her up about a year ago with 96k original for about 3,000. Havent had much time to work on it up till now. She's pretty rusty underneath being a PA truck and all, but still solid. I didn't grow up working on vehicles so its all a learning process at this point. Loving every second... for the most part.

K&n filter I noticed a bit more mpgs. Ive also replaced my cat and muffler with a high flow and a cherry bomb for more top end. cosmetically

I have done a 102' in whip antenna off the back with a cb unit. 6 halogens up front on the stock bumper tannau cover a tool box and my newest edition is a bronco swing away tailgate off the back of the bed. Honestly anything i do to my truck is cheap the most i have spent on it was the exhaust system which was 250 bucks total the rest are under 100 bucks

for some extra color in the cap take some trim off and spray it with some crylon plastic paint works great.

I put an 8 track player in, just cause I felt like it

Gives no performance gain but it sounds good.
