Default 22" rims scrub front bumper

Just put my 22"s on my 92 the other day. The tires barely rub the front bumper. I'm wondering if there's an easy way to lift the front bumper an inch or 1.5" so that it doesn't rub & I don't have to shave the bumper.

If you look at the bumper brackets theres a slot to adjust them up or down. You could also put some washers on the mounting bolts to push the bumper forward a little.

Thanks crown man I'll try the adjustment. The bumper already sits out to far for my taste do hopefully I don't have to go out with it. I would like a flush bumper for front and back but haven't found anyone who makes them.

How hard does it rub? I was able to space the bumper out slightly and trim the inner lip, it wasn't noticeable (see the picture) to clear the tires when I had issues.

It's literally like 4 cm.. If the bumper was in inch higher it wouldn't touch & there's about an inch space between the body under the grill and front bumper so I figured there was a way to raise it. I might try to trim it like that just to avoid rubbing when I go over bumps. Thanks.

It's also more likely to rub when you're turning while backing up. Get it to clear then and going forward won't be a problem.

Do you have a picture after you trimmed the bumper? I'd like to see how far it sits out.

That piece I was holding in that picture was all that I trimmed, it wasn't noticeable at all. Here's what it looked after I spaced it aswell

That's what I was looking for. It doesn't look like it sits out that much farther.. Did you raise the bumper up at all? The gap between yours looks smaller than mine.
