Not sure which is the best deal - they both seemed pretty good. Saw an ad posted online "box of new F150 parts 95 $100". 1 1/2 hrs away but hadda go look.
Turned out the box had a fuel pump, washer pump, belt tensioner, multi function switch, daytime running lights module,ICM, coil, caliper kits, trans valve body gasket, and a few other odds and sods. Brand new in the box Ford parts. Seemed like a good deal for $100. Even rockauto prices on the parts (before shipping and taxes) was over $850.
Funny thing was to get this I ended up within 10 miles of where I went to look at an F350 (3 days previous) that was advertised "for parts, excellent body - $1500". Had to go look at that one too.
Turned out to be a 92 350 XLT 4x4 that had a frame off restoration (with a southern box) about 8 - 10 years ago. Box, cab, doors, fenders etc. are all solid and straight, tranny's done w/ a shift kit, sterling 10.25 full float, Dana 60 up front, transfer case has obviously been apart (shiny clean) and it has a 7.3 turbo diesel under the hood. Paid full asking price for that one.
Unfortunately, I have a friend who's rebuilding the exact same truck and desperately needs a new box but has to go out of town to work 2 weeks at a time so I promised I'd keep an eye out for a parts truck for him. Still a good deal even if I pass it on.

Brand new Ford pump ? That'll be going right in my truck ! Along with everything else from the box !
If you're stuck for a pump though, I've always got an extra kicking around.
I might take you up on that..Got duals and the rear pump is acting up every now and then. Doesnt have that right sing to it, if you know what i mean. I hate to gamble on a used pump though
