The sprayers spray a fan pattern so unless you replace them to shoot a solid stream and up the pressure you won't really cut through any mud that's too much for wipers to handle. If it's that much mud in the first place you should probably have something on hand to get most of it off so you CAN use the wipers.

If the chime annoys you then take it out. And if you open the doors the lights turn on regardless. Take out the bulbs if you want. Maybe unplugging the door things will keep them from turning on.

If you happen to have the A/C on anything but Vent/Floor/Off then turning they key to ACC will engage the compressor clutch too. That's a good few amps drawing on your battery alone.

I'd just make sure you turn everything else off... I've left the radio playing for hours while fishing or whatever and never killed my battery.

The way I seen this guy wired it every thing was off besides the radio. And yes they will be streams not mist. And I do have a squeegee but not every time I'm gonna clean it off and get back in.
